Supported by Griffith University and an Advance Queensland Engaging Science grant, Professor Kathy Andrews from the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery developed the That’s Rad! project to engage and encourage more young people to consider careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) fields.

Liveworm were engaged to develop a brand identity for the project along with a series of children’s books, each investigating different STEM professionals and their working lives. Each book features cartoon illustrations by Brian Doyle.

The identity was created by Liveworm student Grace Roddick, with the first book in the series ‘My Mum is a Parasite Scientist’ design by Brittney Azzuri. Subsequent book designs by May Walker and Rachele Andrews.
