Celebrating print with a exhibition catalogue featuring printmakers from 3000BCE to now

Project background

The exhibition Stopping Time broadened the contemporary definition of printmaking by organising works of art in thematic clusters rather than time periods or location. The exhibition was curated by Professor Ross Woodrow with assistance from Ali Bezer and Blair Coffey, and featured at galleries in Gympie, Newcastle, Logan and Grafton.

Design outcome

The catalogue was designed by Liveworm student Abbie Ongheen focusing on large images with clean and ordered typesetting. The cover features an emboss and clear spot gloss finish on the title on Rives Tradition Natural White stock.
